They are all engaging to me, but I find paraSITE to be particularly moving. It is an action, an object, a story, and a trace of both the person who made it and the person who lived in it. It reminds me how art is in life.

Free soil/ F.R.U.I.T, because it was such a suprise to see a fruit stand in the middle of an art museum. It really drew me in, and stuck with me after I had left the exhibit.
-Charley

I liked the car structure, because it can blend in to the environment and the individual will be left alone, and protected.
-Carlie

I think that the JAM project with solar powered bags were very interesting. I like the idea of being able to operate outside of corporate structures/systems for communication. It is a sustainable, yet individually possible idea.
-Sid Trenton

The JAM solar-powered bags; objects such as these that would be used everyday, would be affordable; seem relatively easy to make; these seem to be a way to get people out of big chain stores and into buying less and using less.
-jab

Michael Rakowitz's paraSITE. This project makes you deal with the enormity of the issue of homelessness, but at the level of the individual. While not a solution, I admire the attempt to help in some way and not remain paralyzed by the issue's immensity.
-JT

i think the movie about blending everyday instruments with modes of transportation stuck with me the most. Not only was the message strong but the cinematograpy and film making was equally as spectacular
-theo

The one with the soda bottles and cardboard made me feel really happy about recycling.
-Valerie

The inflatable house, and the soda house.

Only two artists addressed the effect the "green" movement has had on our awareness with any critcism. It's cool that people are doing things. Let's think more about how what we're doing reflects and reinforces the way we think about ourselves and concepts like "nature" "wilderness," "green"

why can't i buy the solar bags @ gift shop?it's so practical for students/executives to power up their laptops.how long can the laptop be used on the solar charge?i wish that it wasn't made out of hemp but maybe jute/100% organic cotton instead.
